As a venue, the Centre is fully equipped with Wifi, kitchen and toilet facilities (see bottom of page forinfo). Ensuring the Centre is accessible to all, there is step free access into the building. There is a lift which provides internal step-free access to the Office on the 1st floor and rooms on the lower ground floor. There is also a hearing loop fitted in the Loughrigg Hall and the Wesley Room.

The Wesley Room
The Wesley Room is a beautiful space which overlooks Rothay
Park and the fells beyond. Seating up to 40-50 (less capacity if
using tables). Contains projector and screen and hatch to the
kitchen, it is the perfect location for a meeting or family get
together.
This room is also licensed to hold weddings. Please get in touch
with the office for more information.
Home to the local Methodist Church since 2006, who continue
to meet here and worship but is available for anyone to hire at all other times.

The Loughrigg Hall
Measuring at 130sqm and seats up to 115. If using tables this will reduce capacity. This flexible and neutral space is an attractive and comfortable venue for a variety of events, activities and occasions. The high arched ceilings are fitted with remote controlled Velux windows and blinds. The wooden floor is fitted with under-floor heating to provide comfort in winter. Tables and chairs are available for use and are stored in the surrounding cupboards. You will also find a sound system where you can use iphones / ipads / andriod / laptops to play music and use the microphones provided.

Our Place Room
Situated in the lower ground floor with lift access if needed, this area provides a comfortable and practical space for a variety of groups and activities; including the Our Place Youth Club and run events. Complete with fitted kitchen and durable floors, it is the ideal space to hold any gathering. This space can seat around 20-25 and benefits from attractive hardwearing flooring.

The Brathay Room
This comfortable and neutral space provides the ideal location for any meeting or professional gathering. Seats around 25 (less capacity if using tables). It can also be a perfect venue for a workshop or seminar. Situated in the lower ground floor with lift access if needed.

The Foyer
Available to be hired without a room, this space is often utilised by providers of sports events and races as a registration location; as it is easily accessible from the main entrance to the Centre. It is also the ideal location for a refreshment area to support events or concerts.

Room hire includes use of the kitchen for making drinks. Unless you have hired 'exclusive use' of the kitchen you may need to share the facilities with another booking.

KITCHEN:
For full use of the kitchen, there will be a minimum of 2 hours of kitchen use added to your invoice. Please discuss with a member of staff when booking, how you will be using the kitchen facilities.

A daily charge of £60.50 will be added to your invoice for multi-day bookings or large events. Please discuss with a member of staff when making your booking.

Currently home to a variety of regular classes and groups, there are multiple flexible spaces available to hire. The Loughrigg Hall and Wesley Room provide ideal locations for activities such as yoga, shiatsu, pilates, sports, fitness and dance classes. The elevated stage area in the hall provides the perfect platform for instructors and class leaders to teach from.
Whether it is a conference for a large audience, a smaller more intimate workshop or seminar; there are a variety of available spaces to hire. The Loughrigg Hall can seat up to 126 and benefits from a stage area providing elevation for speakers. The Wesley Room is equipped with a screen and projector.
All rooms and spaces are made available to the community for a variety of activities, events and groups. The Community Space in the basement is perfect for craft and art sessions, social clubs, music groups and educational classes. The Loughrigg Hall and Wesley Rooms are well used for craft fairs, coffee mornings and other community led activity.
Comprising of a main hall, foyer space, meeting rooms, community area, toilets and kitchen facilities; Ambleside Parish Centre is the perfect location to facilitate and deliver a wide range of experiences.
