We have a variety of rooms to hire for any occasion. The Centre is accessible to everyone, including lift access to our lower ground floor rooms. Wifi is available throughout.

Wesley Room
This is a beautiful space which overlooks Rothay Park and the fells beyond. Seats approximately 40-50 (less capacity if using tables). Contains projector and screen and hatch to the kitchen, it is the perfect location for a meeting, family get together or even a yoga class!
This room is also licensed to hold wedding ceremonies through the Methodist Church, a license will need to be applied for. Please get in touch with the office for more information.
Home to the local Methodist Church since 2006, who continue to meet here and worship but is available to hire at all other times.
Loughrigg Hall
Measuring at 130sqm and seats approximately 115 (If using tables this will reduce capacity). This flexible and neutral space is an attractive and comfortable venue for a variety of events, activities and occasions.
The high arched ceilings are fitted with remote controlled Velux windows and blinds and acoustic panels. The wooden floor is fitted with under-floor heating to provide comfort in winter. There is a stage situated by the large bay windows. Tables and chairs are stored in the surrounding cupboards. You will also find a sound system where you can use iphones / ipads / andriod / laptops to play music and use the microphones provided.
Our Place Room
Situated on the lower ground floor with lift access, this area provides a comfortable and practical space for a variety of groups and activities; including the Our Place Youth Club, run events and kids parties. Complete with fitted kitchen and durable floors, it is the ideal space to hold any gathering. This space can seat approximately 20-25.
Brathay
This comfortable and neutral space is ideal for meetings, workshops, seminars or any professional gathering. It Seats approximately 20 (less capacity if using tables).
Located on the lower ground floor, it offers lift access for convenience. The room is equipped with power points, white boards, projector screen, roller blinds and tables and chairs to suit a range of layouts.
Rothay
This room offers a comfortable setting for smaller meetings, online zoom meetings or workshops / gatherings. Situated on the lower ground floor with lift access if needed. Tables and chairs provided.
Seats approximately 8-10.
The Foyer
Available to be hired without a room, this space is often utilised by providers of sports events and races as a registration location; as it is easily accessible from the main entrance to the Centre. It is also the ideal location for a refreshment area to support events or concerts.
Cedar
This room is perfect for one to one meetings or a quiet space to work alone.
It is also used regularly throughout the week by two counselling services but available to hire at all other times.
Located on the lower ground floor in the building. There is lift access to the room.
Kitchen
Please discuss with a member of staff when booking your requirements for use of the kitchen.
Unless you have hired 'exclusive use' of the kitchen you may need to share the facilities with other bookings.
Parking
The car park outside the Centre belongs to St Marys Church. If you have any questions about use of this area please get in touch with their office: [email protected]
We cannot guarantee parking for you or any groups using the Centre. We suggest you use the main public car parks conveniently located nearby.
Currently home to a variety of regular classes and groups, there are multiple flexible spaces available to hire. The Loughrigg Hall and Wesley Room provide ideal locations for activities such as yoga, shiatsu, pilates, sports, fitness and dance classes. The elevated stage area in the hall provides the perfect platform for instructors and class leaders to teach from.
Whether it is a conference for a large audience, a smaller more intimate workshop or seminar; there are a variety of available spaces to hire. The Loughrigg Hall can seat up to 126 and benefits from a stage area providing elevation for speakers. The Wesley Room is equipped with a screen and projector.
The Centre has become established as highly desirable venue for a variety of special occasions and events; from weddings, significant birthday celebrations and anniversary parties to exhibitions and concerts of renowned artists and performers.
All rooms and spaces are made available to the community for a variety of activities, events and groups. The Community Space in the basement is perfect for craft and art sessions, social clubs, music groups and educational classes. The Loughrigg Hall and Wesley Rooms are well used for craft fairs, coffee mornings and other community led activity.
