Our Community Groups
APC provide a wide range community groups open to all ages and backgrounds.
Our groups run on funding, grants and donations. Some run by staff members and some by our wonderful volunteers.

Evergreens
A great social group for the senior members of the community. Refreshments are served alongside various games, crafts and days out. Held in our Wesley Room. Subs £3 per person plus extra charges for days out.

Esol
Our qualified Esol teacher Richard welcomes students of all levels to learn language skills necessary for work and daily life with these FREE Esol classes. Held in our Wesley Room.

When: Wednesday, 5.30pm-7.30pm
Youth Club
We offer crafts, pool, table tennis, table football and tuck shop. We have a qualified sports coach who does team sports/games.
Held in the Our Place room and outside in the park during summer.
(HELD TERM TIMES ONLY)
When: Juniors (Yrs 5&6): 4.15pm-6.15pm and Seniors (Y7 onwards): 6.15pm-8.15pm
Games for Men
This is the perfect place to socialise over a game of pool, table tennis and a brew. Held in the 'Our Place' room downstairs in the building.
When: Monday, 1.30pm-3.30pm
Community Cafe
Pop by for a brew, cake, biscuit and meet lots of people in the community. A great place to socialise. Held in our Wesley Room.

Friday Food Stall
We take deliveries of zero food waste from ‘Recycling Lives’ who collect from supermarkets. You can then top up your weekly shop for £4 a bag. Help save on food waste! Friday morning in our foyer 10.30am- 12pm or until the food is sold out.
Every Friday unless there is a private event at the Centre. Please check with the office before making a sepcial journey. We will try to advertise on social media if cancelling.

Bereavement Support Group - You Are Not Alone
We all have times when it helps to be with people who actually know how we feel. Once a month on the first Thursday - a group of people get together for a cuppa, cake and a chat. Everyone who comes to the Bereavement Support Group knows the pain of loss.
We don't have a programme, we are not counsellors and we would not dream of believing that we can make the pain go away. What we can do is provide a safe space where bereaved folk can share their feelings and support and encourage each other.
When: First Thursday of the month, 2.30pm - 4.00pm
