Ambleside Parish Centre is a community Centre cared for and managed by a committed team of staff, dedicated volunteers, and a supportive Board of Trustees. It is a place shaped by the community and run for the community.

Open to everyone, the Centre hosts a wonderfully varied programme of events and activities throughout the year, welcoming both local residents and visitors to the area.

Our purpose is to create and enable opportunities that enrich community life by:

• Helping people connect and build positive relationships
• Offering activities that support physical and mental wellbeing
• Strengthening community resilience through shared experiences and a sense of belonging

Opened in 2006, the Centre stands as the fulfilment of a shared vision made possible through the combined efforts and funding of The Anglican Church, The Methodist Church, and the Heritage Lottery Fund. The Wesley Room continues to serve as the worship space for the local Methodist congregation.
