Centre Manager (Maternity Cover)

This is temporary post is to provide maternity cover for our existing Centre Manager who will be taking leave from sometime during June 2022.

Salary: £21,807 per annum + 3% Employer Pension

Hours: 25 hours a week on a flexible basis, normally Monday to Friday between 11.00am to 5.00pm each day, although some work outside normal office hours will be necessary (for which time off in lieu will be given)

Holidays: 20 days per year plus 5 days at Christmas plus public holidays

 

Ambleside Parish Centre is a vibrant and inclusive venue; supporting and facilitating a variety of events, experiences and community led activity. The Centre is also home to a number of community groups providing a space for experiences which benefit the mental and physical wellbeing of its members.

It is the role of the Centre Manager to oversee the smooth running of the organisation, both as a charity delivering community focused projects, and as a desirable and flexible venue to hire.

The Centre Manager is responsible for the management of the Centre's facilities, staff and our many volunteers and for delivering a professional, enthusiastic and flexible approach to the continued development of the Centre, ensuring our business and community objectives.

 

The successful candidate will have experience of managing a small team, be able to support and further develop the Centre and its wide range of projects and activities, have knowledge of accounts, budget control and grant applications and be able to deliver reports to the Board and others.
